This a small portion of the old wall that surounded ancient Rome, Italy during the days when conquering people tried to enter the city. Only a small portion of it is left today.

This is an amazing piece Richard.I don't know if you are familiar with Stephen King's Dark Tower series but when I look at this I think that maybe this is what Blaine the train might look like.The story is surreal and mystical and this is the feeling that this evokes for me.Well Done!

The Coloseum as it stands today shows how it was torn apart many years ago, blocks etc. to build other structures around Rome, Itlay. Reconstrution was done on some of it's walls.

When we visited the Trevi Fountain in Rome, Italy the maintence crew was in the process of cleaning it out and I never got a chance to toss in a coin like they did in the movie " Three Coins in the Fountain " .

I find your style very interesting and with very good proportioning. I prefer using just a black no. 2 pencil, but I am considering doing some color work too. I'm a bit disappointed with the response I'm getting. I'm wondering if I may be on the wrong site. If you don't mind my asking, how many hits are your averaging per day? I get from 15 to a high of 94...but still no sales. .
