Don't know exactly what kind of manipulation you did to the photo, but it works great.
Posted on 10/15/2009 at 09:28 PM
Waldemar, it's amazing how consistent you are in your style. As Robert said -- weird stuff! But one just can't stop analyzing it. Very interesting. I also have two suggestions. 1. Title your paintings. They're all different, yet all of them share that "no title" label. 2. Add some additional tags. That will make it easier to find your work.

Rick, I too love your Geisha. Absolutely gorgeous. I like your other entries but have not taken time to comment on each one. Love your style! Thanks immensely for your comment about my photograph of our dog, "Happy". She is around 9 now and healthy. (But) I dread the day that she will depart from us. I just lost my precious 13 year old cat, "Bob" and feel like a person is missing around here. He was healthy as could be one day, then I found him limp outside the next day. Will not go into further details on his demise. I just simply miss him SO MUCH. Shine on, Anne in Virginia.

Thank you for your comments on my "Time Passes" image. With a technical background in aviation and a long history with photography, I really appreciate how difficult it is to light images like the gears and more highly reflective subjects in your other pictures. Creativity and technical do not always go together. .
Posted on 10/15/2009 at 07:06 PM

I remember the first time I saw the Space Needle, it was from the deck of my ship as we navigated into Seattle. At first all we could see was the very top, it resembled a B-movie spaceship. Then as we proceeded further more of its magnificance came into view. That weekend I had dinner with friends at the revolving restaurant (40 Years ago). I enjoyed the view as well. .
