Thank you Colin for commenting on My Garden Girl Painting. I painted it on a small stretched canvas with Hyplar acrylic paint mixed with with medium texture gloss medium to make the color translucent. I love texture so it appeals to the sense of touch as well as the eye. I love my yard and I agree this part of my yard does make a pleasing composition. It is beautiful here.

This was taken on me and my sister's trip with my mother... the seals were there almost every morning we were there... I have one of mother seal and baby somewhere. Just have to find it!

Hi Roy - absolutely beautiful paiinting! The abstractish background, composition and colors are wonderful - stunning to me. I don't know if you noticed that on the very right side from the bottom, the image is not cropped correctly... there is a white stip showing, which should not be there. Recrop and then reupload a new photos of your artwork and it will make an gorgeous print!

In this wonderful drawing, the artist has put up one of the best examples of shading and line drawings. Look at the Lady sitting with grace. The delicacy flows even from her eyelids, drop by drop, making the drawing such a lively one. Correct proportions of limbs of the woman figure make this drawing an eye-catching one. The balance maintained in drawing the lines and executing the shading have made whole drawing a beautiful piece of art. Well done Mayme.
