Wanda, this is one of my favorite on the site! Absolutely beautiful and powerful! You stated the original "print" is for sale. Do you mean the original oil painting? If you would please e-mail me through this site I would appreciate it. I am an artist also and the only paintings in my home are mine and my Mothers (who was an artist) and one of Jesus. This blew me away. I love it! I would consider it a pleasure to have it in my home. Please e-mail me & see what we can work out. Thanks.

You are very good with the figure and portraits. I was drawn to this paiinting because of the mystery and feeling it created. Who is she waiting for -- the father, the husband? There is a certain restlessness in the figures. Are they afraid? Eager? You got me! Good work.

A Rainbow Cave, the title sounds beautiful! What's in this cave that the colours are so radiant that people have given it this name? Would there be jewels inside, or maybe gold and silver that mirror their shine on crystal walls inside the cave? We don't know, there's only a painting of the inside, no stories to tell us what the cave is made of. So I'm curious what mindblowing beauty has swallowed these poor victims that went inside. I love your wonderful talent of making the viewer want to know more about what happened here and I really do hope that the truth will be revealed one day! :) Anyway, the marvellous painting created by the artist is a great testimony of its (and his!) brilliance! .

Excellent. Reminds me of my time trying to get a boy goldfish. Congratulation. Besides being a beautiful work of art you got to convey the feeling of the moment.

I love this piece. I love the textures and the colors. It is a great picture. The boat seems sad. Thanks for the comment also. I saw you got some pictures of the amish. How have you managed this? The best I could do so far besides getting a buggy shot out side of a flea market, was a quick sneak shot of one selling cider. I so eagerly want to get some shots, but I am also so afraid of offending them. I once took a photo with a third world national in Saudi Arabia but you could tell in the photo that he was made that the "donkey" asked to get a picture with him. .

This is very beautiful, Dindin! It brings back lovely memories of a wonderful time I spent in the Phillipines, many years ago (actually we landed in Manila just 2 days after Pres. Aquino was shot! and went straight into the riots)! But even such political unrest couldn't spoil such a beautiful country with wonderfully warm and welcoming people and I remember in particular how amazed I was, by the outstanding artistic ability of virtually everyone I met! (Thank you too for your kind and generous comments on my work!).

Excellent work - It's amazing how surreal nature can be. It's natural for people to see faces in things, but I see a row of them at the point where the image mirrors. the infinite wonders of nature meet the infinite wonders of the human mind - I love it!

I love this painting. Sometimes it's hard to let our inner 'child' do the painting. I think he/she sometimes does a better job, don't you?

Blooming is some way! Funny that the death of things sometimes add so much Color.

Hi Peggy, great shot. However, this is a young drake. His colors haven't fully come in, but you can see the green feathers developing around his bill. Drakes also have a yellow green bill like you see here. The hens have an orange bill with black markings. It's a great shot, but this young guy might be unhappy being called "Mrs." :).

Thank you Rich!! I LOVE learning new things, especially and particularly how to identify the subtle differences in animals, birds, etc. I will change my title here for sure, and will definitely be on the lookout now for better identification. I really appreciate you taking the time to teach me. All the best to you!!! ;~).
